Please visit http://www.getaway4florida.com/ to find out more information on things to do and see in St. Augustine. It has listed popular attractions, historical sites, beaches, and golf courses. Our personal favorite is the World Golf Village; visit www.worldgolfrenaissance.com for more information. One of our favorite restaurants is the Milltop Tavern, located at 19 1/2 Saint George St St Augustine, FL 32084. We love the peal and eat shrimp. It is located across the street from the Fort and is actually in a cluster of trees. There is usually live music playing and it is just a fun place to hang out.
We also love A1A aleworks. http://www.a1aaleworks.com/ There is an onsite brewery, good food and a fun atmosphere. It is a short walking distance from the Hilton. Visit the website for more information. The Prince of Wales resturant has the best fish and chips south of Vancouver and the shepards pie is out of this world! A fun pub/bar resturant in the restoration area. The portions are huge, so come hungry or split a meal. It is a walking distance from the Hitlon or other downtown hotels. http://www.theprinceofwalesstaugustine.com/THE_PRINCE_OF/Page_5x.html For those of you staying at the Hampton Inn St. Augustine beach we recomend the conch house. It is a ten minute drive from the hotel. You get to sit on the water in a Tiki hut, very key west. They usually have really good live music and it is a fun place to eat or have a drink around sun set. http://www.conch-house.com/ We also recomend a sight seeing train to see all of St. Augustine and to learn the history of it, I know it is kind of touristy and cheezy, but fun. http://www.redtrains.com/
